I have a little technical question about the pictures.

If I post a picture here that has 400x300 pixels, it will appear to be about 4 inches x 3 inches on the screen, because the screen uses about 100 dots per inch (dpi) to display things.

If you print the picture on paper, it will appear to be anything from 2/3rds of an inch to 1 1/3 inches big because printers print at 300 dpi or 600 dpi.

How are you copying these pictures Vicki so they appear the right size?  What is the best size to give you my picture in?  (I have one that is currently 600 pixels wide and trying to decide whether to scale it).

Don't scale it.  The picture you showed me that you wanted to use is just fine.  I have a free program called "Irfanview", http://www.irfanview.net/  that can make most any picture the size I want, without the image being too much degraded.  It has a lot of neat features.  If you look at Mary Ann's picture in her report, it's very small, but on her actual Word report that I have printed out it's much larger.  I  just resize the photo, then copy and paste into Word.

Aren't you impressed with my techie skills?   HAR

Hey Vickster - I've just edited my main post to put the larger photo in.  I'm very impressed by your skills - who'd have thunk it?  Cheeky

Need your reports, time's a wastin'!  Only 12 more days before I have to mail the Christmas Album to Holly.  Yikes

Last year I received over 40, I only have 13 so far.  You don't want Mel to be disappointed, do you?   Blush   Whipped By Whipped By Whipped By
