I was thinking, that with Christmas coming, it might be a good time to bump this back up. There might be some BackUP families that will need our help...........Just a thought!

Is the Sunshine Fund still in existence?  It's a beautiful idea.  Backups are Halo Halo Halo  Somebody tell me if we can still donate to the fund.

Jena, I feel sure that it is still in effect.  But maybe one of the LT members should verify that.

Yes Jena, the fund is still active. We still have some money in it for emergencies, and in case of necessity we will post on the boards asking for more donations. Thank you for considering to contribute, we will count on you if the need arises  Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Hi everyone. I am coming by to let you know that I have been asked to handle the Sunshine Fund and I happy to do so! The fund is used for emergency use; such as fellow Backups who have emergencies in their personal lives.  Examples of this would be lack of funds for food or medical necessities, among other similar personal crises.  In addition to imminent needs, our members may also donate to the fund for a future need.

If you would like to make a donation to the fund you may send it via paypal to

scraig716@comcast.net

In the event of emergencies send your requests to me via a pm and they will be addressed by me and the LT. 

I will be working closely with the LT on this fund down to every detail.  Thanks guys!
